Jen Ions
Operations Manager
After graduating with a BA in Law and Management from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Jen made the move into retail management with a major high street retailer. In her 18 months there, she progressed from a sales assistant position into management before relocating to the North East to take up a new retail management role. This move saw Jen join a designer clothing store and she was rapidly promoted to managing the Metro Centre store.
This was quickly followed by a move to a larger Metro Centre outlet, where Jen was responsible for the management of around 80 staff. Due to the extremely fast paced nature of the job, Jen became increasingly involved with the day to day operations and HR functions and effectively management in these areas. This helped her to build on her already excellent customer service skills to become an effective Operations Manager.
As the eagle-eyed amongst you will probably note, Jen joined the business after a particularly lengthy vetting process by Managing Director (and husband!) Mark Ions.
