We are delighted to be working with a global market leader in the recruitment of an HR Business Partner to their dynamic and progressive HR team.
Providing a Business Partnering Service to a distinct directorate within the organisation, you will be heavily involved in key project work and will be given targets to drive the business forward. As well as this, you will research and analyse data around areas such as reward and competitor analysis to ensure that the best solutions are in place for the business.
You will be working with key stakeholders at all levels on a day to day basis - from coaching and supporting line managers to sharing ideas with fellow members of your team. The organisation operates on a culture of empowerment - as HR Business Partner you will be given all of the support you need and once you feel confident that you have all of the information you need you will be given the autonomy to make decisions and work off your own initiative.
The ideal candidate will already be working in a senior HR Advisory or Business Partnering role and will view this position as the natural progression in their career. Communication skills will be very important as you will need to liaise with and influence senior people in the organisation and should have the confidence to challenge management to ensure that HR best practice is being followed.
Prior experience in areas including change management, employee engagement, succession planning and restructuring will be very important.
Along with strong analytical skills, you will have your CIPD qualification or be well on the way to achieving it. A strong commercial brain and a background in a large organisation would be advantageous as would any experience of change management initiatives. It is essential that you will have worked previously in a high volume, fast paced environment - a background in contact centres or retail would be ideal.
The role itself will be North East based, predominately in County Durham but will involve some UK travel, although this is not likely to form an extensive part of the job.
