In 2007, the North East witnessed the launch of Exclusive Human Resources – a revolutionary recruitment consultancy specialising in Human Resources. The primary aim of Exclusive Human Resources is to deliver a bespoke recruitment service that addresses the needs of both candidates and clients, with equal care and attention.
Exclusive Human Resources is the brainchild of Director, Mark Ions, who has an impressive pedigree in the field of Human Resources, specialising in HR recruitment. After graduating in Law and Management (with Honours in Human Resources), Mark initially worked in Accountancy and Administration recruitment in Aberdeen. On his return to the North East of England, Mark founded the North East Human Resources division of a National Recruitment Consultancy. He was instrumental in developing the company over a very successful six-year period, introducing and managing specialist HR markets within senior industry, interims and the public sector. In 2006, in response to the increasing need for companies to invest in robust training, development and retention plans, Mark launched a specialist programme, dedicated exclusively to Learning & Development (L&D), training and talent management across the North of England and Scotland.
In March 2007, the inaugural North of England CIPD Awards ceremony was held in Newcastle. This was a prestigious event in the HR calendar, bringing together 350 of the regions leading HR professionals. Mark was invited to join the awards panel, and on the night presented the ‘Developing People’ award.
In creating Exclusive Human Resources, Mark has capitalised on his knowledge, skills and experience not only in the HR sector, but also with regard to blue chip technology and the local market. In particular, his highly specialist skills and experience in HR recruitment place him at the forefront of his field. Mark leads a dedicated team of specialists, and works in close collaboration with a carefully selected network of HR and L&D Associates.
