The firm in question has grown over the past few years to become not only a regional market leader, but also a force on the national stage and a superb opportunity has arisen in their HR team for an experienced Senior HR Advisor. 

Reporting directly in to the HR Director, the duties associated with the role are as one would expect of a strong, HR generalist.  They would include :

• Recruitment and selection of fee earning positions and professional support roles;
• Graduate recruitment including the design and implementation of assessment centres;
• Solid understanding of Employment legislation and best practice
• The creation of policies and procedures including awareness training and appropriate change management to implement procedures;
• Coaching and advising managers on performance management and capability;
• Supporting managers through best practice and developing line manager HR aptitude;
• Providing other value add HR projects in addition to generalist HR activities

Alongside this, the successful candidate would also be responsible for the management and development of the HR Assistant within the team, so previous line management experience would also be advantageous.

It is important that the person applying to this job is not only confident, but also displays credibility around senior managers within the firm.  The role also demands a person suited to working autonomously, with the influencing and communication skills necessary in a fast paced professional services environment.
