After over ten years in the industry, Mark Ions has become a name synonymous with Human Resources recruitment across the North of England.
Following graduation from university in Scotland, Mark returned to the North East of England to progress his recruitment career. After establishing a dedicated Human Resources recruitment team in the area, he was pivotal in the development and growth of the team over a very successful six year period. In this time, Mark managed recruitment into specialist HR markets across both the public and private sectors. He also became involved in the development and launch of a specialist programme incorporating L&D, training and talent management across the North of England and Scotland.
Sensing a demand in the market for a dedicated, professional HR recruitment consultancy in the region, Mark launched Exclusive Human Resources in 2007. His ethos of honesty, integrity and quality is the cornerstone of the business and, since its launch, Exclusive Human Resources has grown rapidly under Mark's direction to become a leading provider of HR Recruitment and HR Business Services across the region.
Mark is a flag bearer for entrepreneurs across the region. He is actively involved with the Entrepreneurs Forum and, in particular, the 'If We Can You Can' awareness campaign, as well as being a Princes Trust Business Mentor. Along with his Senior Consultant, Gareth, Mark is also a familiar face at CIPD branch events and is a proud supporter of the body in the region. As Exclusive Human Resources has grown Mark has headed up seminar events with other professional services firms and also publishes a monthly e-newsletter which is widely read in the HR community.
Away from work, Mark enjoys spending time with his young family.
