An excellent opportunity has arisen to work as a Regional Learning & Development Manager for the North East region of a leading financial services organisation.

The role sits within the UK Financial Planning & Advisory business unit which currently employs circa 1000 financial advisors UK wide. This role will work alongside a team of current L&D Managers who are based UK wide and will be focused on designing and delivering all operational L&D activity for the financial advisory teams based in their NE region which essentially covers all of the North East and Yorkshire down to Sheffield.

The role will be home based but will require significant travel on a weekly basis to internal and external sites in the region to design & deliver a range of corporate training interventions to the above mentioned staff e.g. soft skills, management development, leadership, coaching etc.

In addition you will be seconded on a periodic basis through the year to handle the week long induction programmes for new financial advisors joining the business in your region.

Given the types of staff you are responsible for from an L&D perspective, you MUST be FPC or CEFA qualified in order to be considered and regularly use your experience gained via these qualifications to train financially regulated staff.
