As well as the operational duties that one would expect from an HR Consultancy role including work on TUPE transfers, disciplinaries and grievances and recruitment and selection the position itself is far more varied in its' scope. The successful candidate will work on specific HR projects around project management, leadership and succession planning and will be expected to contribute on a strategic level to the development of an expanding team and organisation. CIPD qualified, the preferred candidate will demonstrate clear professional values and ethics that will be in keeping with the environment as a whole. As well as this, the ideal person should be adept at problem solving, be open to change and new ideas and also work well within a small team. A track record of developing and delivering HR policies and procedures will be important but equally the applicant should show real hunger for personal development and progression within the field of HR. The role will be located at the Head Office in County Durham but some travel around the North East will be necessary. Reporting directly in to the HR Director, the role will require a deal of autonomy and would ideally suit someone who is keen to make their own decisions and thrive in their success.
