Exclusive Human Resources are proud to be working exclusively with a world leading manufacturing organisation in the recruitment of an HR Advisor to their expanding team.
The organisation, with a true global focus, are looking to appoint a highly motivated and resilient HR professional to support a specific business unit.
The role itself will be broadly generalist and it is important that you will have demonstrated a number of years of generalist experience and will be able to contribute to the function from day one. As one may expect in such a role, extensive experience in areas such as disciplinaries and grievances, performance management and absence management will be essential. It will also be advantageous to have some payroll experience as you may be called upon to support the current payroll specialist at certain times.
Reporting directly into the HR Manager, you will be working closely alongside another HR Advisor and will work together to develop each other, feeding off each others' ideas and experience.
You will be CIPD qualified, or in the latter stages of completing the qualification and will ideally have a knowledge of manufacturing organisations although this is not a must.
In terms of character essentials, credibility and tenacity are the key to success in the role. You will be dealing regularly with senior management in the UK and overseas and it is essential that you will be able to advice, influence and build relationships with these stakeholders.
There is likely to be travel both in the UK and, further down the line, across Europe with the role although the position will be based in Teesside.
